Guest Artist Agreement Minimums

For the Guest Artist Agreement, the following minimum weekly salaries and work rules apply depending on the production's tier:

Span of Day

The "Span of Day" defines the total duration allowed from the first call to the last call within a single workday, inclusive of any breaks. Under the Guest Artist Agreement:

  • Tier I: The span of day is 7 hours of work within an 8 1/2-hour period.
  • Tier II: The span of day is 7 hours of work within a 10-hour period.

Engagements of One Week or Less

If an engagement under the Guest Artist Agreement lasts for one week or less, an additional payment of $50.00 must be added to the applicable minimum weekly salary for actors, stage managers, and assistant stage managers.
