Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., was established on January 13, 1913, by 22 collegiate women at Howard University in Washington, D.C. The sorority is founded on principles of sisterhood, scholarship, and public service, aiming to promote academic excellence and provide assistance to those in need.
With a vast network of over 1,000 collegiate and alumnae chapters spanning the United States and several international locations, Delta Sigma Theta is committed to making a significant impact through its five-point programmatic thrust:
