Brett Eldredge is allergic to Christmas trees.
He discovered this allergy firsthand when he brought a real Christmas tree into his home. Within a couple of days, he began experiencing symptoms such as sneezing and generally feeling sick. This reaction prompted him to remove the real tree and opt for a fake one instead. To replicate the festive atmosphere and scent, he uses scented candles.
