Samantha, the witch married to mortal Darrin Stephens, ultimately had two children during their marriage, both of whom inherited magical abilities. Their children were:
- Tabitha Stephens: Portrayed primarily by Erin Murphy, Tabitha was Samantha and Darrin's first child, a daughter born with inherent magical powers, much to her parents' simultaneous delight and consternation.
- Adam Stephens: Portrayed by David Lawrence, Adam was their second child, a son who also inherited magical capabilities.
The Legacy of Tabitha
Tabitha's character was significant enough to inspire a spin-off series. In 1977, ABC commissioned a show titled Tabitha, starring Lisa Hartman in the adult role of Samantha's witch daughter. However, the series was short-lived, being canceled after its first season.
