Based on their regulations, the following items are expressly prohibited:
- Illegal drugs
- Narcotics
- Illegal substances
Authority and Discretion
It is important to note that the SSO (Ship Security Officer) and the Captain hold the authority to make a professional judgment regarding the legality of any item. This applies to items that are:
- Declared
- Detected
- Discovered on board
This means that while a core list of prohibited items exists, the ship's command has the discretion to prohibit other items deemed illegal or unsafe for the voyage.
