You can find Earth Crystals in a variety of locations, primarily through mining and foraging, but also from geodes, specific monster drops, and other unexpected sources.
Foraging and Mining
One of the most common ways to find Earth Crystals is by foraging within The Mines. They are especially prevalent on the lower levels.
- The Mines: Frequently found as a forageable item, particularly on floors 1 through 39. Keep an eye out for them lying on the ground.
Geodes and Panning
Earth Crystals can also be obtained from specific geological deposits and through the process of panning.
- Geodes: Break open regular Geodes at the Blacksmith to reveal various minerals, including Earth Crystals.
- Omni Geodes: These rarer geodes also have a chance to contain Earth Crystals when processed.
- Panning: Use a Copper Pan at shimmering spots in water bodies to pan for various items, which can sometimes include Earth Crystals.
Monster Drops
Certain creatures found in The Mines and other combat areas may drop Earth Crystals upon defeat.
- Duggies: These burrowing creatures, found on floors 1 through 29 of The Mines, can drop Earth Crystals when defeated.
- Haunted Skulls: These elusive and aggressive enemies also have a chance to drop Earth Crystals.
Other Locations
Don't overlook these less obvious but still viable sources for finding Earth Crystals.
- Fishing Treasure Chests: While fishing, you might occasionally reel in a treasure chest containing various items, including Earth Crystals.
- Garbage Cans: Check the garbage cans around town; sometimes useful items like Earth Crystals can be found within.
