How Do You Revive in Scrap Mechanic?

Published in Scrap Mechanic Gameplay 2 mins read

In Scrap Mechanic, if a Mechanic loses all their health and becomes knocked out, they can be revived by another Mechanic using a Revival Baguette.

When a Mechanic's health drops to zero, they enter a knocked-out state, indicated by a distinctive "dizzy" effect appearing above their head and a "Respawn" prompt on the screen. While in this state, they cannot move or perform actions on their own.

The Revival Process

Reviving a knocked-out player is a cooperative effort that requires a specific item:

  • Another Mechanic: Revival can only be performed by a second player. This means it's a feature exclusive to multiplayer gameplay.
  • Revival Baguette: The assisting Mechanic must possess and use a Revival Baguette. This item needs to be "fed" to the knocked-out player.

Upon successful revival with the Revival Baguette, all of the revived Mechanic's stats are immediately set to their maximum values, allowing them to rejoin the action fully restored.

Key Aspects of Revival

To summarize the revival mechanics:

  • Condition: Player is knocked out (zero health, "dizzy" effect, "Respawn" prompt).
  • Requirement: Another player (Mechanic) must be present.
  • Item Needed: A Revival Baguette.
  • Action: The assisting player uses the Revival Baguette on the knocked-out player.
  • Outcome: The revived player's stats are fully restored to max.

This system encourages cooperation among players, making the Revival Baguette a crucial item for team survival in challenging situations within the game.
