To enable Steam Play for all titles, you need to access Steam's settings and activate the "Enable Steam Play for all other titles" option.

How to Enable Steam Play for All Titles

Enabling Steam Play allows you to run Windows-only games on Linux by leveraging Proton, a compatibility layer. Follow these simple steps within the Steam client:

  1. Open Steam and Navigate to Settings:

    • Launch the Steam application on your computer.
    • In the top-left corner of the window, click on the "Steam" menu.
    • From the dropdown menu, select "Settings". This will open the Steam Settings window.
  2. Access Steam Play Options:

    • Within the Steam Settings window, locate and click on "Steam Play" in the left-hand sidebar. This section is dedicated to managing compatibility tools.
  3. Enable for All Titles:

    • Inside the "Steam Play" section, look for the "Advanced" subsection.
    • You will find a checkbox titled "Enable Steam Play for all other titles". Click this checkbox to enable the feature.
    • After checking the box, click the "OK" button to apply the changes.
  4. Restart Steam:

    • Steam will prompt you to restart the application for the changes to take effect. Click the "Restart Steam" button when prompted.

Once Steam restarts, it will be configured to attempt running all titles, including those not officially supported, using Steam Play and its underlying compatibility tools like Proton. This significantly expands the range of games you can play on your system.
